For whom?
Large industrial, pharmaceutical, watchmaking, technical or highly specialized companies facing the imminent departure of experts who hold knowledge that hasn’t yet been passed on.
What’s at risk?
Rare skills, often undocumented, risk disappearing with the retirement or internal move of a key employee. These losses can compromise:
- product quality
- the continuity of critical services
- regulatory compliance
Our approach:
We implement a supervised intergenerational pairing between the outgoing expert and one or more internal successors. The pairing is structured over 3 to 12 months, with a supervisor who is expert in knowledge transfer and adult pedagogy.
The process includes:
- mapping of tacit know-how
- active observation and documentation of key practices
- co-analysis workshops and feedback sessions
- joint work on concrete cases
- postural coaching of the junior toward the role of expert
The benefits:
- capitalization of intangible assets
- reduced risk of losing strategic knowledge
- structuring of internal succession
- better workforce planning in technical areas
- engagement and recognition of the senior in a mentoring/pass-on role
